
Matcha Brownies

Matcha brownies are a great way to enjoy the earthy flavor of matcha in dessert form. They're soft, chewy, and just sweet enough, with a vibrant green color that sets them apart from your usual brownies. These are perfect for afternoon snacks, casual get-togethers, or as a unique addition to any dessert spread.
Ingredients

1 tbsp Nippon Ceremonial Matcha

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

¾ cup (95g) all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt
-
Optional: white chocolate chips or chopped nuts (¼ cup)

8x8 inch baking pan

Instructions

Preheat Oven & Prep Pan

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Line your baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.

Add Dry Ingredients

Sift in flour, matcha, and salt.

Stir until just combined—don’t overmix.

Optional Add-Ins

Fold in white chocolate chips or nuts if using.

Bake

Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
