The Nippon Matcha Difference
We noticed a problem: most matcha on the market is either incredibly bitter, mixed with cheap fillers, or prohibitively expensive. We created Nippon Matcha to bridge that gap. We partner directly with multigenerational tea farmers in Japan to bring you first-harvest, shade-grown ceremonial matcha. It’s stone-ground slowly to preserve its vibrant, neon-green color and sweet, umami flavor. No bitterness, no crash, and no middlemen—just authentic Japanese matcha.
Ingredients & Benefits
Ingredients: 100% Pure Organic Japanese Matcha Green Tea. (Zero sugar, zero preservatives, vegan, and gluten-free).
The Benefits:
- The Zen Energy: Naturally contains L-Theanine, an amino acid that slows the absorption of caffeine. This gives you 4-6 hours of calm, focused energy without the coffee jitters or midday crash.
- Antioxidant Powerhouse: Packed with catechins (EGCG) to support a healthy immune system, boost metabolism, and promote glowing skin.
How to Enjoy
Making cafe-quality matcha at home is simple.Sift:Sift ½ to 1 teaspoon (about 2g) of Nippon Matcha into a cup to prevent clumps.
Pour:Add 2 oz of warm water.(Crucial tip: Never use boiling water, as it burns the tea! Aim for 175°F).Whisk:Use a bamboo whisk (or an electric frother) in a zigzag "W" motion until a thick, rich foam forms.
Enjoy it your way:Sip it straight as a traditional tea, or pour it over iced oat milk with a dash of vanilla syrup for an elevated daily latte.

Frequently Asked Questions
Nippon Matcha is ceremonial grade — the highest quality matcha available. We use only first-harvest leaves from Uji, Kyoto, shade-grown for 20+ days and stone-ground on granite mills.
Yes. Nippon Matcha is USDA Organic certified, grown without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Every batch is third-party lab tested for purity.
Exclusively from Uji, Kyoto, Japan — widely regarded as the birthplace of Japanese tea culture and home to the finest matcha in the world.
Caffeine depends on how much you use. A traditional serving (~1g) has approximately 30–40mg of caffeine. A latte-style serving (~2g) has approximately 60–70mg — about two-thirds of a cup of coffee. Matcha also contains L-theanine, which promotes calm focus without the jitters or crash.
Traditional: Sift 1–2g into a bowl, add 2–3 oz hot water (170°F), whisk in a W-motion until frothy. Latte: Whisk 1–2g with 2 oz hot water, add 6–8 oz steamed milk.
Keep in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 4–6 weeks. Unopened tins can be frozen for up to 6 months.
Same matcha, different sizes. The 1.06 oz (~30 servings) is perfect for trying it. The 3.53 oz (~100 servings) offers the best per-serving value for daily drinkers.
Absolutely. Ceremonial-grade matcha makes exceptionally smooth, sweet lattes without the bitterness of culinary-grade. Many customers prefer it specifically for lattes.
